we were talking today, how it's sometimes a bit much to rip a whole cd, when you just want 1 or 2 tracks.

i was wondering...can you copy tracks directly from a cd? insted of ripping them all to your hard drive

Unfortunately with windows media player jaws doesn't speak very well so you can't cellect just the track you want. You will have to do all of them.
But there is a very accessible programme called CDEX.
With this programme you can just cellect the track you want.
Here is the download link.

I hope you like it.

Hey all, do this in windows media and it is pretty accessible with jfw. alt-v, g-go to, I-rip, then try this. Arrow down once, then tab, you aught to be in the play list, all the boxes for the tracks will be checked, so just starting unchecking the ones your not interested, then hit the key combo for ripping. There ya go! Should work just fine.
